Blaze Up 4/20 With Awaited Indie Comedy “The Pizza Joint” On Amazon

Long awaited release of Indie Comedy “The Pizza Joint” will be aired 4/20 on Amazon. Written by Robert Jauregui and produced by Sam Rivas and William Leonardo Molina, The Pizza Joint follows the story of the owners, their adventures and the magic of their “secret sauce.”

THE PLOT

Based in the city of Greenville, South Carolina, where Cannabis is now legal, Thomas (Tim Chantarangsu) and Anthony (Anthony Gujardo) operate Phu-King Pizza. Their shop is ablaze and the talk of the town, leaving its customers with wanting more. No one knows why they are addicted to the pizza. Why have they become so addicted, it’s the secret sauce! Both Tim and Anthony have made a deal with ex-dealer turned businessman, Playa Playa (Noel Gugliemi) with adding his high strain of Cannibas, “Jamaican Goddess” to their sauce.

With business running at its highest, both Tim and Anthony find themselves owing Playa Playa more than they can chew. Owing $20K after being robbed, they must find a way to pay the debt. Their employees try to help reaching the goal but everyone finds themselves caught up in comedic tragedies along the way.

FILMING

Filmed in Houston, Texas in 2015, produced by Savir Production, Executive Producer Full Clutch LLC and distributed by FilmKey Entertainment, The Pizza Joint has an array of young talented actors. Noel Gugliemi (Fast & Furious, The Purge 2, Training Day, Bruce Almighty), Tim Chantarangsu known from YouTube as Timothey Delaghetto (YouTube, Wild n Out, MTV Deliciousness), Peter Dante (Grown Ups 1 & 2, Grandma’s Boy, Waterboy, Little Nicky), Anthony Guajardo (Walking Dead Season 1, Shark Boy and Lava Girl, Margarita Man) and a host of others complete this comedic cast. The widely anticipated release has received rave reviews by Kevin Smith, Jay Mewes, Afroman, and The Luniz.
