2K Ponce Juno Is The Rising International Superstar You Need To Know

Rising international sensation 2K Ponce Juno is an artist you need to know. Hailing from the beautiful island of Antigua, his international sound and fan base is reaching new heights having been named as an “2021 Artist To Watch” by This Is 50. His single “Go Pretty Girl” is giving his fans a taste of what is to come all summer long.

I had the pleasure of catching up with him for a candid conversation to give a little more insight into who he is as a man, artist, and international superstar on the rise. Check it out below.

Who is 2K Ponce Juno is an artist and man?
I’m serious about my business and family but very free-spurted when it comes to everything else music . Family is my driving force in my life and all matters. I also live by being positive to everyone around me because you get more bees with honey than anything else in life.
At what age were you when you realized that you wanted to pursue a career in music?
I was around twenty one I realize my potential.  Twenty-two I really realize I can make some money doing this music thing. And it took off for me every sense.
How did you get your start in the music business?
I made it happen myself so I can’t really say how I got started. I just didn’t quit and kept on going. I definitely met people along the way that was awesome and shared the similar dream to network & collaborate with and/or to add to my team which helps.
When did you Catch your big break or have you reached that plateau yet?

I don’t think I got a big break yet or reach that plateau but I did a song and video with Beenie Man which is one of my favorite reggae artists for me which was definitely a honor and felt like a big break. “Go Pretty Girl” is currently top 20 of the DRT Charts” which is amazing for a artist like me. I plan to soar further till I reach the top.

Where do you draw inspiration from?
I love music. I can put an beat on and definitely have something to say. I think the way I share my music to the world inspires me to do another track and another.
Where are you from and where do you currently reside?

I was born in Antigua raised in Park Hill States Island but now I live in Freeport Long Island.

Talk about the inspiration behind your latest release?
Go pretty girl is a song about pretty women all around the world. I knew I was going to film the video in Jamaica . So I needed someone that would be able to put some islander flavor plus can see the vision I wanted to convey for women everywhere. There was no one better suited than “Bennie Man”. But I couldn’t leave the track like that I needed a women on there too which became Double K which spoke from the women point of view. There you go the inspiration behind the track of “Go Pretty Girl “ dedicated to women everywhere.
What are you currently working on?
I’m doing a collaboration with another Jamaican artist but can’t say any names but you can check out the video this summer.
What is up next for you?
New music and creating new videos that can relate to my fans.
