Meet Walter Nash, Professional Basketball Player and Team Owner on His Rise To Stardom

Walter Nash, currently living in Oxnard, California, is a professional basketball player and 1/3 owner of his own professional basketball team. He has made a name for himself in the field of professional basketball with an impressive career spanning several years. He graduated college with three Associate Degrees in Sociology, and a bachelor’s degree in Business.

Walter Nash is an extremely hardworking, ambitious, honest, coachable, charismatic, loyal, resolute, and intellectual individual. He has worked hard to achieve success in his professional life, all the while taking care of his mother through high school. He is a gritty individual who converted all his obstacles into success stories and believes that anyone can achieve the impossible with optimism.

Originally from San Diego, California, Walter started his journey into the field of basketball during his middle school years. His brother, a former SDSU athlete, was his first coach. He worked on his shooting for a full year, owing to expectations of him. He participated in the AAU and San Diego leagues. He was the star player of every team he played on, averaging over 20 points every game. He was voted the top SG in the country while attending the Phenom 150 Camp. He has also received the MVP award several times. Nash claims that his 60 points in the final match in middle school is the most memorable performance for him since, at the conclusion of the game, he was referred to as Kobe.

He started out as a freshman at Serra High School and played for the AAU. He then joined Patrick Henry High School for his sophomore year when he injured his Achilles. Though he was sidelined for the season, he kept working and was able to recover his body and return to the basketball court in 3 to 4 months. He was chosen for SDJA during his junior year. He was the team’s star athlete, averaging around 25 points per game in the competition. He finished his schooling at Palo Verde High School and finished his high school days playing for the third-ranked team in Nevada.

He returned to San Diego where he was a Redshirt for San Diego Mesa College after high school because he did not enjoy living in Las Vegas. Following SDMC, he went to UNLV, where he had the opportunity to participate in preseason games. He was not attracted by the team culture at UNLV, which made him focus his energies more on the academic area. Later, he went to UCCS, where he averaged 21.3ppg and 6.6apg. He enjoyed his time and had a wonderful learning experience at UCCS. At this point, he became eager to begin his professional career.

Walter Nash played for San Diego Sol at the CIBACOPA Professional Basketball Training Camp from 2017 to 2018. He averaged 12 points per game and 9 assists per game for Wilson Swiss All Stars (Switzerland) from 2018 to 2019. He also actively participated in the invitational basketball tryouts for the Bakersfield Jam NBA G League. He averaged 14 points per game and 7.4 assists per game for the Hawks from 2019 to 2020.

From 2020 to 2021, he was in the CA Pro Leagues. He averaged 24.2 points per game and 3 assists per game for VBL Swish. He also contributed 18 points per game and 5 assists per game for JBL Swish. Nash was also a star player in the SPBL with 14ppg and 8apg. In 2021, he was playing summer league for Team Golden State and had a 3.5ppg and 2apg. He was also signed by Team San Antonio Eurobasket Summer League in Las Vegas, starting five.

Walter Nash is considered an excellent player in both offensive and defensive situations. He has excellent control over the ball in high-pressure situations. He is also famous for his ability to trap or double teams, which allows him to know when to let the ball go. He is also great at helping his teammates by creating open shots for them.

Walter Nash is now looking for more opportunities to network, gain exposure, and work with good companies that can help him grow his professional career. Obtaining an NBA Contract will be the pinnacle of his career.
