Nymrod, born Corry P. Stokes, is a multifaceted artist and entrepreneur in the New York city music scene. He emerged from the cooper projects in Brooklyn and began his musical journey during a five-year prison sentence. A chance encounter with NYC rapper Max B served as a turning point, motivating Nymrod to pursue songwriting professionally, which he had been honing since the age of 12. Upon his release, Nymrod established his own record label, Federal District Ent. Corp, becoming the CEO and music label executive. This move was driven by his passion for mentoring emerging artists, providing them with business insights and connections. He collaborated with an
array of artists, showcasing his versatility and influence. With a discography spanning back from 2012 to the present, Nymrod is here to stay! Nymrod is not only a dynamic artist but also a captivating live performer. His electrifying stage presence and crowd engagement have garnered a devoted fan base, with performances spanning the east and west coasts and even a multi-city tour in Tokyo, Japan. Furthermore, Nymrod’s songwriting talent extends to ghostwriting for some of the biggest artists in the music industry, though the specifics remain confidential.

Nymrod who is also an entrepreneur, ghostwriter, label owner and talented performer, has showcased his gift up and down the East Coast. He has collaborated with artists including Redman, The Weeknd, Melo, The Heatmakerz, H.E.R., PMD of EPMD, Junior Ried, Tyga, and a cascade of other well-known artists.

SM- Tell us about what you’re currently promoting?
I am promoting my new Album called “Born in Paris”

SM- What continues to be the motivational factor for you?
My Children.

SM- What was the most challenging thing you had to overcome to get to where you are now?
My Dyslexia.
