Giannis Antetokounmpo Invests $21 Million in Chicago Real Estate
NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is making waves off the court with a major real estate acquisition in Chicago. Through his family‑owned investment firm, Ante Inc., the 10‑time All‑Star completed the purchase of the Harmony Apartments — a recently completed four‑story, 56‑unit residential complex — for more than $21 million.
This move marks another milestone in Antetokounmpo’s expanding business footprint: the Harmony acquisition follows a series of multifamily property investments in key U.S. markets over the past year.
Growing Portfolio Beyond Basketball
The Harmony Apartments deal was financed in part with an $11 million loan from Old National Bank and adds to Ante’s growing portfolio — which includes properties in Wisconsin and Brooklyn, New York. These strategic real estate buys have pushed the company’s total multifamily investments past $69 million and 180 apartment units in recent months.
While Antetokounmpo is known worldwide for his dominance with the Milwaukee Bucks, this acquisition highlights his vision for long‑term wealth building and diversification outside of sports — signaling that his legacy may be as much off the court as on it.
