Lady Da Flame Wows with Inspirational Music As celebrations of Caribbean American Heritage and Black Music Appreciation unfold during the month of June, it would be remiss of us to not acknowledge the incredible music and talent of Reggae firebrand Lady Da Flame. Much to her credit, Lady Da Flame (aka Marjorie Reid) has been entertaining the masses with her soulful brand of Reggae music for over two decades.

The Jamaican American vocalist, who hails from Washington, DC, has intentionally set out to inspire worldwide audiences with her impressive music catalogue. As you read this, the powerhouse entertainer is continuing a vibrant spree of motivational bangers with “You Can Do It” (Righteous Corner Productions), a much-needed source of encouragement during volatile times. Moving minds, bodies and souls, Lady Da Flame song “You Can Do It” (Righteous Corner Productions) has garnered both fan love and radio support, amidst hitting Reggae charts in both New York and Florida markets. Another musical offering from Lady Da Flame sharing the inspirational trajectory is “Just Another Day” which hails from the “Consequence Riddim” (CD Master/Inna Mi House Music). Already amassing the attention of music lovers and DJs, the dynamic vocalist seals the deal with this relatable record.

SM- Tell us about what you are currently promoting?
I am currently promoting the songs:
“You Can Do It”
“Just Another Day”
“Second Time” 

SM- What continues to be the motivational factor for you?
God is a motivational factor for me first and foremost. Also, inspiring wide audiences with positive messages is motivational.

SM- What was the most challenging thing you had to overcome to get to where you are now?
I view obstacles as blessings and natural occurrences. Naturally, I have not been removed from the experiences many musicians have: monetizing music, identifying brand partnerships, touring, radio, etc.

SM- What values are important to you when it comes to building your business?
Solid representation is of primary importance when building a business. A dynamic team plays an integral role in success. Shared visions are important, strong business ethics, practices, and consistency.

SM- Was there anyone in your circle that contributed to making this campaign a success? 
I must acknowledge my manager Rawborn Production and Acclaim PR, as well as DJs, sound systems, fans, my producers, media houses and others vital to the Lady Da Flame brand.

SM- What can people expect from you next?
People can expect a vibrant continuum of impactful music. Additionally, fans can rest assure that my music will transcend music genres, while serving as a source of motivation and bright light even in dark times.
