Atlanta’s own Mason Wright, the teen founder of Mason’s Super Dogs, has expanded his beloved gourmet hot dog brand with a second restaurant, adding to his first location and food truck.
Launched by Mason at just 12 years old, Mason’s Super Dogs started as a small hot dog cart on the Morehouse College campus. With bold flavors and a fresh take on classic favorites, the cart quickly built a devoted fan base. When the COVID-19 pandemic forced him to pause operations, Mason didn’t give up—he adapted. At only 14, he opened his first brick-and-mortar restaurant in DeKalb County, Georgia, becoming a source of inspiration for young entrepreneurs nationwide.
Now, at 19, Mason is returning to Atlanta with the opening of his second location. “This is more than just a restaurant—it’s the realization of a dream,” Wright said. “From the very beginning, I wanted to create something meaningful for my community, and I’m grateful to share this next chapter with the city that has stood by me since day one.”
Community leader and youth entrepreneurship advocate Mary-Pat Hector praised his achievements: “Mason shows what’s possible when young people are encouraged and supported. His journey from a 12-year-old with a cart to a 19-year-old opening his second BeltLine location proves what determination and vision can accomplish. He embodies Atlanta’s entrepreneurial spirit at its finest.”
Mason’s Super Dogs is more than a restaurant—it’s a story of resilience, creativity, and community pride. From its beginnings on a college campus to its thriving locations today, the brand continues to demonstrate that when passion aligns with purpose, the results are extraordinary.
